Jewellery with precious stones
Coloured gemstones bring to jewellery what diamonds alone cannot: colour. Giulio Veronesi Gioielli selects them one by one — sapphires, emeralds, rubies and rarer gems — to pair them with gold and diamonds with the measured elegance of Italian tradition.
Coloured gemstones
A coloured gemstone is more difficult to evaluate than a diamond: saturation, hue, transparency, and origin all come into play. This is where selection matters more than the setting, because a well-chosen stone is already half the jewel. Giulio Veronesi Gioielli has known this for generations, and bases its collection on this principle.
In the Giulio Veronesi collection, coloured gemstones range from the classics — blue sapphire, emerald, ruby — to the most rare and sought-after gems: tanzanite, aquamarine, tourmaline, tsavorite, and topaz. Each finds its perfect setting: a central stone surrounded by diamonds in rings, a pendant in choker necklaces, or a continuous setting in bracelets. The gold — 18kt white, yellow or rose — is chosen to dialogue with the colour of the gem, not to compete with it.
The criterion is always balance: the coloured gemstone is the protagonist, the diamond accompanies it, and the metal holds them both. It is a way of understanding colour that privileges elegance over flashiness — the depth of a blue or a green, not just their simple presence.
Each piece is crafted according to the Italian goldsmith tradition and accompanied by a guarantee.
Our creations
Giulio Veronesi Gioielli
An expression of the Italian goldsmith school, Giulio Veronesi Gioielli has cultivated a special relationship with coloured gemstones since 1896: choosing them is a craft within a craft, requiring eye and experience. It is the same care that in 1964 led the Gemini creation to the Diamonds International Award in New York.
A collection designed for those who seek depth in colour, not just effect.
