Cookie policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This page explains how giulioveronesi.it uses cookies and similar technologies. For complete information on the processing of personal data, the Data Controller and your rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to make them work, remember your preferences and collect information in aggregate form. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies (pixels, identifiers, local storage) with comparable purposes: on this page, for simplicity, we refer to all of them as “cookies”. They may be set by our site (first party) or by third-party services (third party).
How we manage your consent
The site uses a proprietary consent management platform (CMP). On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or customise by category. Your choice is applied through Google Consent Mode v2: cookies and tracking that require consent are activated only after you agree, and stay disabled if you decline.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. We keep a record of your choice (date, preferences, policy version) as required by law.
Cookie categories
1. Necessary — always active

2. Statistics — require consent
They help us understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used.
- Google Analytics 4 — Google Ireland Ltd. Analysis of browsing behaviour. Main cookies:
_ga,_ga_<ID>. Activated only with consent and under Consent Mode v2. Privacy - Adobe Analytics — active only in the Rolex section, as part of the brand’s programme. Measures the use of the Rolex pages. Adobe identifiers/cookies, governed by the
rlx-consentchoice.
3. Marketing — require consent
To measure campaign effectiveness and deliver relevant content.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook) — Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Campaign measurement and remarketing. Main cookie:
_fbp. Privacy - Google Ads — Google Ireland Ltd. Conversion measurement and remarketing. Main cookie:
_gcl_au. Privacy
4. Anonymous measurement — no cookies, no consent required
To understand our real traffic volume while fully respecting privacy, we use tools that do not set cookies, do not profile and process data in anonymous, aggregate form, with an anonymised IP address:
- WP Statistics — server-side statistics, anonymised IP, respect for the Do Not Track signal.
- Matomo — self-hosted analytics in cookieless mode, anonymised IP.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in anonymous audience measurement. These tools do not require your consent and do not appear in the banner because they use neither cookies nor technologies that would require it.
Managing cookies from your browser
In addition to the banner, you can manage or delete cookies already stored from your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may, however, affect how the site works. Instructions: Chrome · Safari · Firefox · Edge.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the services we use or to the applicable law. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
