YESTERDAY
When the goldsmith engraved dreams

Bologna. It was 1896 when Giulio Veronesi opened the first shop, in via Orefici. In 1920, when the shop moved to Palazzo Ronzani, the eldest sons, Raffaello and Galileo, joined their father, who would soon leave them to run the shop. During the 1940s Veronesi jewellers earned a reputation for fine workmanship and creativity.
Then the war and the exodus from the city forced the family into 2 years of inactivity. But the years of reconstruction brought a resounding triumph. In 1964, the Gemini ring won the New York Diamonds International Award, thus qualifying as the world's finest jewellery creation of that year and coming to symbolise the story of a family.

TODAY
When the goldsmith engraved dreams

The 1970s were fortunate years for Veronesi jewellery, the mirage of an increasingly refined public. A second shop in Bologna and the Gallery in Cortina confirmed the success of the strategy undertaken by Gianfranco and Gerardo, Raffaello's sons. International relations intensified. Auctions have always been extremely important occasions for Veronesi Jewellers, who can today boast a private collection celebrating such personages as the Duchess of Windsor, Greta Garbo and Andy Warhol. Veronesi Jewellers continue to create pieces based on their own exclusive designs: ideas develop into unique collections and the public identifies Veronesi as a mark of talent and quality.

TOMORROW
The emotions will continue

For over a century, Giulio Veronesi Jewellers have interpreted the ideals of beauty, perfection and good taste. A success they have built with absolute determination, by constantly improving their jewel-crafting techniques, operating with great ability in international markets, showing extreme transparency in sales and in human relations, and above all by cultivating the invaluable goldsmith's tradition handed down over the centuries to the generations who today make up the Veronesi family.
The refined skills acquired over the years still find expression in Giulio Veronesi collections and are fully in harmony with modern desires and needs because …"Dreams haven't changed, we want to offer the same emotions, create the unexpected, propose jewellery that transcends both time and fashion."
